In the fall Alicia Richmond (>> Celebrate Your Shape) styled a fashion show for Jewel Kade Jewelry and chose Whimsy Clothing for the event.
Alicia commented, "From the crowd reaction I could tell that the highlights of the fashion show were the tiered ruffle tuille skirt, the midnight blue dress and the maxi skirt."
"This tiered ruffle skirt illustrates my high-low styling principle. I paired this fancy, frilly skirt with a classic, but more casual chambray button-down and finished the look off with a chunky brown belt to highlight her feminine figure." >> Skirts
"Next was the striped maxi skirt that I pulled up to become a tube dress and then added a classic denim fitted jacket to complete the look." >> Skirts
"The final fashion show entry was this midnight blue, fit and flare dress by Stop Staring. The brand name fits this dress because the women in the audience loved how flattering the silhouette is on most women's curvy shapes. This outfit accentuates the waist and gives curve to the hips to create the classic hourglass. The style and fabric are ideal for those women with curves. The hip curve is showcased with the drape of the fabric and attention to the waistline. >> Dresses

Pulling this video out of the archives, I thought I would share this TV commercial from a few years ago. Even though styles have changed a bit, the commercial still shows the Whimsy styling philosophy of Bohemian Chic with Western Flare. Enjoy!
